Who founded CHIC in the City?

Savvy shopaholic and Australian fashion aficionado, Siobhán Young launched Sydney's original high-end boutique shopping experience, CHIC in the City in 2007.

Designed for the discerning shopper of any age, looking for inspiring and creative fashion, CHIC in the City is recognised as the leading boutique shopping experience in Sydney.

Siobhán can quickly work out the perfect look, having worked privately for years tackling wardrobe, shopping and style dilemmas, including her expertise: finding exactly what you are looking for: from one-off pieces to the latest looks that suit you.

She was instrumental in introducing Adam Dixon to Channel 9’s Catriona Rowntree, after the TV local celebrity enjoyed her own CHIC in the City experience. As a result Adam designed the perfect wedding dress for Catriona.

Siobhán and her team are involved in various high profile fashion events, from hosting fashion shows to workshops. Most recently Siobhán was a judge at Visa Platinum, Fashion on the Field at Randwick Races.

Having lived and worked in Europe’s fashion capitals of Milan, Paris and London, Siobhán speaks Spanish, French and some Italian.
